We held our annual show last Saturday as part of the Alresford Agricultural Show. Entries, especially of vegetables, were down compared to the last time the show was held in 2019, but still a respectable number of entries. This might have been partly because of the driest and hottest summer on record and because several long-standing competitors were either ill or have retired from competition. However, the show was successful with many cooking and photographic entries. The tent was full of visitors almost all day. The Tombola and Lucky Dip were popular. A massive thank you to all who helped.
