But in my garden we are grateful that there seems to be no beech mast which for us is certainly a blessing. Is this climate change I wonder.\u00a0\n\nWe were sorry to hear that our Honorary President Michael Baron had died and sent our condolences to daughter Clare Read and family.\n\n&#8230;<\/div><\/li>\n<li><a class=\"wp-block-latest-posts__post-title\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alresfordhorticultural.org\/_wp\/?p=252597\">Newsletter &#8211; August 2025<\/a><div class=\"wp-block-latest-posts__post-excerpt\">The annual garden party, this year held in Val Ramshaw\u2019s garden was a great success. 34 members and guests attended and a good time was had by all.
